The ol one eye.
Anyone else experiancing clipped unit pictures? Its like a bad photograph or somefink, I only see thier left side! Any ideas ? Im running a Voodoo 5500 single chip, otherwise I get the same white block problems of CMBO.... other than that I dont know what I can do.
Schrullenhaft
This is normal. The image isn't clipped. That is the new 'portrait' graphic which is only the shoulder of the highest ranking person in the unit rather than the whole face. This was done because it was too hard to find all of the 'face shots' (upper torso) for all of the different units in CMBB. When you mention 'white block problems' are you saying that your textures are going to blank/white ? Which OS, which drivers and what are your display settings set to (assuming that you're on a PC the ones for DirectX) ? Shadow 1st Hussars
They are supposed to be like that. It's so you can see the ranks of the unit.
The ol one eye.
Oh, well I feel stupid. I had the white block problem in CMBO as well, I just have to switch the card to single chip only and it works fine. Thanks. Im going to go over to the corner now with my dunce cap. Schrullenhaft
The reason I ask about your settings is that I've been able to run CMBB without going into single chip mode. The one thing I had to disable was a Z-Buffering setting and so far no problems (using the 1.04 drivers... I can't remember exactly, I believe they were the last official drivers). The ol one eye.
I tried to disable Z buffer and runnin 2x AA,4xAA and Fastest performance but that makes things REALLY messed up. Im running driver 2.6.2.166 got it about 6 months ago, works well for most other games with fastest performance set. Ive got: AMD Thunderbird 900 Win ME Voodoo 5500 32Mb Sore eyesockets from playing since 5am. Really, it works fine with the single chip settings, but if you have any ideas how to optimizr the graphics, please let me know. Thanks!
