Dave M
In one scenario despite my HQ having LOS of a target area and command lines (red) to the mortor units on the other side of the hill they would not fire. Not until I brought them out of their foxholes and put them in the open on the hill would they target. What's up? Secondly why can the computer concentrate fire on my unknown HQs while my units target std infantry? Is that an AI help? Dave
Captain Wacky
In CMBB the HQ and mortar units must unhide in order to fire. [ November 11, 2002, 06:04 PM: Message edited by: Captain Wacky ]
MikeyD
I've been having good luck with commanders spotting for mortars (even on-vehicle mortars!). You could have one of a couple problems. - Commander is hidden. - Mortar is hidden. - Mortar is too far away to be under command. - Commander is spotting out of LOS (target behind tree or building). - Mortar is out of ammo (that's the one that always gets me!) Silvio Manuel
To get the maximus truth in answering your question Right probably we'd have to hear from the BFC kru to answer that one about the morotrs.
