dunc
i have quite a strange question which probably came to me in a dream or something. Does anyone know, how many small arms rounds were fired by each nation in WW2? Or an average per solider? i don't know how anyone would know this, but there's always a chance. Gyrene
A whole freaking bunch by some estimates, or a sh*t pot full by others. Gyrene
Captain Wacky
I believe the correct unit of measure is in buttloads, and metric buttloads specifically.
Kingfish
To determine the number of rounds fired by the Finnish army you must first determine the number of Russians who were killed in that theater, then divide by two, as it was common knowledge that each round fired by a Finn killed two Russians. And I've heard they were almost unbeatable in close combat. Their heads were even without helmet very hard to crush. And even FallschirmjaeggerSwissBayonet could not penetrate their heroic chest! Oh, poor Russians!
