reddball
Does anyone know if CMBB ( or for that matter CMBO or Strategic Command )if these will run on the new ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 graphics card ( Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition _ Dell Inspiron 8200 - 2.0 GHz ). Also, does anyone know about Nvidia GeForce 4 440 Go - same question? Also, if anyone has the new ATI or the Nvidia on this system what has been your experience with compatibility with other games? Hopefully this will help anyone trying to make a choice right now in regards to the graphics card selection for an Inspiron. I know any feedback will help me. Thanks. Magnum MGG
I have my 2 gig desktop, and my 1 gig Dell Laptop with the GeForce2 Go... and games solded from Battlefront are GREAT laptop games... I have all of them on my laptop CMBO,CMBB,SC,Tacops4, and Red devils... all work perfectly. Any nvidia card, (the GeForce Go cards you meantioned) will work just like a desktop with the Geforces... they all use the same reference drivers and direct X files. as for the new Radion, cant answer that, but if it's a card made within the last year... you can almost bet they will all work. Good luck, good gaming.
Captain Wacky
It should run well. Just don't expect fog due to the ATI card, and remember: no matter how fast your machine, To the Volga will still bring it to its knees
jwxspoon
I have a P4 2.8 laptop with the Radeon 9000. CMBB looks and runs awesome. jw
LightningWar
I got an Inspiron 8200 about 5 weeks ago. It has te GF4 440 Go in it. Runs CMBO and CMBB great. The ATi 9000 is better so I would imagine it should run it just fine. Unless there is still that fog bug. LW
