Lars
It's not a campaign, but a series of battles. Keeps you from blowing the whole wad on the first battle as your force will have to last you till the end.
Boo Radley
I follow. Makes sense, too.
MikeyD
There's not too many 'big city' battles out there to choose from (with proper city blocks, no open country or woodlands, etc.). Too bad, 'A Walk in Paris' was a hoot to play the first time -- especially if you've got that old classic 'Is Paris Burning' on your bookself. I am surprised nobody's tried to reproduce (or I haven't seen) the tank battle under the Cologne Cathedral. Well, CMBB is eventually going to give us Stalingrad to play around in. Boo Radley
quote:
Originally posted by Lars: Yes, I have about five PBEM operations going right now.

What is the average size of the file for the movies? I'm only on a 56k modem and I doubt that I can handle anything too huge. Are they compressed?
Lars
Same as any other battle. Depends on the number of forces involved. On a Huge battle the biggest I've seen is 2 Meg (lottsa shooting going on!). Generally 150 K to 600 K. Zip the files for easy e-mailing.
