CMBB Pics

Recommended Posts

Three factors:

- Larger textures.

CMBO original textures are smaller with (relatively) few pixels. The CMBB textures are like Hi-Res mods.

- Doodads.

These smaller textures that raise from the ground.

- Smaller ground grid squares.

In CMBO every ground square is 20x20m, in CMBB 10x10m (IIRC).

Cheers

Is that correct? I was under the impression that there was no underlying changes to the graphics engine in CMBB - being reserved for CM2.

Would be nice if it was true.

Yes, the tiles are the same size as before, 20x20.

The most obvious difference is that this time we have a full time dedicated artist working on textures. Kwazydog isn't just a great guy, he is a great artist who knows how to get the very best out of his artwork and each texture he touches is a masterpiece.
