Panzer_Meyer
Yes there is, I have his book, written by him, "Grenadiers, by Kurt Meyer". It's an amazing book, I read 3 times now, I highly reccomend you get it.
Herr Kruger
He is a prominent figure in Michael Reynolds' "Steel Inferno", a look at the SS Panzer Divisions in Normandy. After reading that book, which contains numerous quotes from the aforementioned "Grenadiers" I have to agree with the author of "Steel Inferno" that Meyer's book is somewhat dramatic. Panzer Leader
Yeah, I'm hoping to buy "Grenadiers!" and "Pantertaktik" soon. God I love J.J. Fedorowicz.
Mattias
If you can read German there is a book that his son wrote to/about him. I don't know if it is available in English. In any event, it certainly gives you a lot more personal depth than Grenadier. It can be found at amazon.de: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3451048663/qid=1015844169/sr=8-1/ref=sr_aps_prod_1_1/302-6404226-8880849 Not about the war directly, but very much so indirectly..
