MikeT
Here is what I mean, I design a scenario, I double click on the platoon leader and all squads are highlighted. When I move the leader the squads follow. Same is for vehicles. My problem is that when I do this for Russian units...it doesn't work. I can still deploy Germans and their allies with no problems but not Russians or their allies. This is a real probem in scenario design, I am working on some now and it is hindering matters. Can anyone suggest a cure? I checked the hotkeys and found nothing that helped. MikeT
Master Dullard aka flyingcursor
I'll be deploying the Russkies tonight in a scenario of mine. I'll let you know if I experience the problem. If not then I'll let you know that as well.
rune
Just created a scenario and had no problem doing this. Rune
Terrapin
This was covered recently. Evidently you have to switch the viewpoint 180 degrees, so hit "/" and it should work.
Pine59
I have seen this as well so I tried Terrapin's suggestion and it still happens. Axis platoons can be placed by either the right click menu or hitting "P". Russians can only be moved as a group by the shortcut key, the menu option only moves the unit clicked on. I can see the other highlighted units being "unselected" when I right click the platoon leader unit. This also happens if I draw a perimeter around several units to select them as well as double clicking the command unit. Strange thing!
Jack Carr
I also am experiencing this "quirk". You can get by but it's a slower process.
WWB
To get the multi-select options for the soviets, use the backslash key to switch sides in the editor. You will need to switch back to multiselect the germans. WWB
kevinkins
Just experienced this myself tonight for the first time out of the blue. The "p" key is the only thing that works on my system. Anyone know when this began to happen? I dont remember this an issue post patch. And I remember moving units arount easily after the patch. WOW. - Kevin
