Scipio
I just wonder, I think the BTS folks are the only who can know it. I have noticed (already in CMBO) that vehicel movement increases the size of PBEM files VERY much - in CMBB also ski troops. I just wonder what the reason for this may be!? What difference makes it for the engine to move a infantry squad or a tank?
MGONZOM
I Also notice if there is a lot of Rubble, Craters, Foxholes, the base file is large to begin with too...

WWB
There is a file-size bug with Ski troops. EFOW also adds some to file sizes--more FOW data needs to be tracked. So, until 1.02, I advise avoiding ski troops in PBEM or TCP. WWB
demoss
What's the nature of the ski troop bug? I played The Move Back by PBEM and the files were really no bigger than I'd expect for a scenario that size (that is to say, a good deal smaller than any of the other scenarios I was playing). Andreas
AIUI this only occurs if both sides use ski troops. In my tests and the reports I read, one side using them made no difference. Ps. If you played 'The move back' did you review it? If not, why not?
