  1. Still need know which one to download... Does the overlays for CMBB work on CMAK?
  2. Which grid overlay for CMAK is best that does not change terrrain colors drasticly. I perfer a low res overlay. i have found that while designing scenarios the overlays help deter terrain flaws in my scenarios. Please give me the designer's name so I can download the right one... Thanks!
  3. I will be a doing a couple extensive scenarios once I get my Christmas present sometime soon, I will include names from the 442... hopefully they will be as successful and challenging as my CMBO scenarios. My Best man's wife had relatives serving in the 442. Michael "Gonzo" Gonzalez
  4. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW! Now I need a Program that will send me to the site every night! I really like the backdrop, cannot wait to see Anzio!!
  5. Did you assign which units need to exit and those that did not?
  6. I think it is OK to give tactical options in briefing. VLs locations help too.. I belive in the "situation"(mission) part of the briefing this would be a perfect spot... Also I am sure if you have recon in the area you could also give a little insight on what is happening in the intelligence part of the briefing...
  7. If anyone has the titles of scenarios on the original CMBB release, please send to me... I have to install a new hard drive and would like to clean up the scenarios I have installed. Please feel free to e-mail me at mgonzom@chico.com Thanks,
  8. You can build houses on minefields, It sounds like you ran into a booby-trapped house. Also aircraft can drop their bombs nearby too and them up... If pioneers can blow bridges they can blow houses too, any pioneers in the area?

  10. Hello, I suggest you use this map! If you like it i am willing to be the neutral party that sets up the set-up zones for you... Just e-mail me.. BTW I was the creator of the map... Michael "Gonzo" Gonzalez mgonzom@chico.com
  11. Knockout II is now posted at WarfareHQ and Scenario Depot. "Fun!, Tests all your skills on one map!" "Great Stuff, cannot wait until Released!" Well it is now released, go and have fun! Title: Knockout II Type: Meeting Engagement Date: August 8, 1943 Location: Mother Russia Region: North Weather: Clear, Warm Terrain: Dry Wind: Length: 38+ turns Author's Note: This was originally designed for tournament play. It is balanced for PBEM play. Do not let the points for each side fool you, it is very balanced as is! German and Russian forces are moving their forces to key locations to seize control of the road net. The valley ahead is a fertile region for farming. There is also a key bridge in the area. There has been fighting in this vicinity before. Both the Russian and Germans have moved in and out of the area. The pioneers of both sides have laid mines in the area and erected roadblocks. Both sides have pulled back at least twice. Last night there was an engagement between recon forces. Author: Michael "Gonzo" Gonzalez E-Mail: mgonzom@chico.com
  12. Shermans? One day soon will finish a historical battle with a whole brigade of Shermans at the Prut River against Romanian 18th Mountain/Infantry Division. Just need to tweak a few more details... Love those Shermans, they still light up like a Roson lighter.
  13. The scenario is now ready for donwload at Scenario Depot. Thanks Admiral for your fine service!
  14. When this scenario was played in CMBO it was an intense PBEM enjoyed by all!( well maybe all, somebody usually lost a battle). This scenario can be played against AI with some heated firefights too! Get it atWarfare HQ Scenario Archieve or at the Scenario Depot . Have Fun! Title: Meeting! Type: Meeting engagement (fictional) Date: June 22, 1944 Location: Russia Region: All Combined Weather: Clear, Warm Terrain: Dry Wind: Still Length: 35 + (variable) Author's Note: This scenario is designed for PBEM. Can play either side vs. AI. This is a remake of a scenario I designed for CMBO. There have been some adjustments to the forces to make it exciting. I chose to include a victory location in this version of the scenario. The Germans and Russians are moving forward to begin their next offensive. There has been a lull in the fighting in this area. Finally, they can see some sunlight as the forest begins to break up. The troops are happy to know that they will rest soon and have been assigned to hold the next crossroad for 24 hours while the next division moves through their positions. They are looking forward to a hot meal and some rest. author: Michael "Gonzo" Gonzalez
  15. I really like this idea especially for all the ladder play! Great Idea!
  16. Here is new scenario that will be a challenge for anyone to win Russian against AI. It is definitley an advanced scenario. Anything above a tactical vistory is considered a Major Victory. It is posted in the scenario archieve at Warfare HQ Scenario Archieve and at the Scenario Depot . Good Luck and Have Fun... Here is the General Briefing. Title: Knight In Armour Type: Allied Attack (semi-historical) Date: September 15, 1942 Location: Outside of Rzhev Region: Central Russia Weather: Warm, Overcast Terrain: Dry Wind: Windy, E Length: 22 + (variable) Author's note: Please play this scenario as Allied versus AI. There is a second scenario in the making for Axis versus AI. This scenario was developed by a chapter in James Lucas' book "War on the Eastern Front 1941-1945" Please read the historical notes after you play the scenario. Rzhev was the gateway to Moscow and Smolensk. Here outside this town the Soviets tried to break through and came upon a thin defensive line of German infantry and armor vehicles. author: Michael "Gonzo" Gonzalez
  17. So Far... A larger map... up to 2000 square meters total. This means any configuration, could be a 800m x 1200m, 0r 500m x 500m, so any size under the 2000m maxium Turns at or about 30+ but no more than 35 (again this is for tcp/ip play) Points about 1500 to 2000pts total both sides remembering that too many units is not a good thing, remember TCP/IP is the goal... So what do you guys think?
  18. No I believe your choice is destroying them yourself unless you started your map using the generater in the editor(you would have to check that our... I perfer controlling my own damage with a little fire and some destoyed, some flatten...
  19. Yes CMBO had major problems with operations, I tried designing several and was really frustrated with it so I never released an operation... I am currently woking on a historic scenario in CMBB and now am ready to start reserves... If the reserves dump into map like CMBO I will not release it either and that is too bad since the first battle played pretty much as I planned... I am also going to try AI free to set-up, I forget how that worked out in CMBO that may be another option to try...
  20. I would like to see some bridges for trains... I know there will be some Anzio battles done and I can think of no fewer than three important scenarios for that. Also I remember two or three in mountains in Italy also... Thanks,
