Is it more acurate in CMBB than in CMBO,or is as dangerous for you as it is for the enemy?

It's just as dangerous, but much, much cooler than in CMBO. Some planes can be very effective, like some of the dive bombers, and some of the planes are virtually useless. I've had mostly good experiences with them. Hope that helps.

The airplanes in BB are my favorite weapons, though of course they are only useful for a few turns. I rarely used them in BO. A friend of mine virtually won a game over me simply because his airplanes damaged 95% of my armor in the first few turns of the game! :eek:

but how much does YOUR air power affect YOUR troops? Because in CMBO I had several times about half of my panzers knoked out by my own air force.And it's a little weird to spend say 50% of your points on an air force wich kills your other 50% ground troops.That's why I never bought planes in CMBO.

My question is is that possible in CMBB to end a battle without a loss inflicted by your own air power?

If you stay away from the enemy lines is still possible that your pilots to confound your troops?

For the most part my planes have hurt the enemy far worse than the few friendly fire incidents that are of course inevitable. I buy them instead of artillery quite often. It is really a drag when youre last at-gun is strafed by youre own pilot though :mad:

but overall I love using air support in this game

Air power often does horrendous damage. Sometimes, its even to the enemy.

Seriously though, those points are better spent on arty most of the time, though the Soviet delays make them tough to use well for anything other than pre-game bombardments.
