GJK
I've had Klez sent twice to my cmbb@ email address, which I just set up this week and have never used nor advertised anywhere but here. The Klez has a from of: MALBERTO@ and a return path of: gayers@ If either of those are familiar to you (yours) you might want to grab the Klez cleaning tool from Symantec.com Sorry for the interruption, now back to your regular scheduled programming.... Ok, took out the email addresses. Yes, I know that Klez spoof's the address, but this person could possibly be the spoofer and not just a spoofee [ October 05, 2002, 05:21 PM: Message edited by: GJK ]
WWB
The from part is immaterial, except for the sender has recieved email from that address. The return path is what is important, so send that guy a note telling him you are getting viruses from his machine. WWB
Malakovski
Just FYI, Klez spoofs email addresses, so that address may simply be in the addressbook of a computer with the virus, rather than the origintor of the infected emails.

A lot of people make that same mistake. Those email addresses should also be removed from the first post, just in case an email harvester finds this page.
