Avram lytton Posted November 4, 2002 Share Posted November 4, 2002 I am currently working on an operation that takes place during the Finno-Russian winter war of 1939-40, however, I'm a bit unsure as to the vague temperature definitions of "Frozen" and "Extreme cold" does anyone know roughly what,in celsius, that would translate into? However, when I hear "frozen" I'm thinking more around -10º C. 0º C during winter is definitly classified as "mildly", at least here in northern Norway. I guess it depends a lot on your preferences. Avram lytton Posted November 5, 2002 Author Share Posted November 5, 2002 Ouch, here in Calgary it sometimes sinks to around -25/30 and in the praires with the wind it's really nasty. It's better in the wooded foothills though. I figured that "Frozen" was probably around zero, however these terms must refer to a range of temperatures and with historical records claiming around -15, I'm not sure what to set the operation temp to.
