Is it possible?

I am thinking about trying to design a scenario about an assault by US on the German's Westwall. Now my idea is to have numerous pillboxes that the US must get by but there are not enough German troops to man all the pillboxes. How would you place a pillbox without troops and if you rushed German troops to the pillbox would they automaticly man the pillbox?

CM treats pillboxes and bunkers as a type of vehicle that can't move and has a passenger capacity of "none". Thus, there is no way to simulate the very common troop shelter type of pillbox encountered in the West Wall frown.gif

This being the case: it might not look right, but one way to simulate the effect you want would be to place small houses where you want the pillboxes (heavy or light for concrete or wooden). They'd be a little easier to blow apart than concrete pillboxes, but might give something like the desired effect--in any case, you could certainly have troops run in and out of them. Would it be possible to create a "pillbox" mod for a house, to improve the visual effect? But, of course, troops could fire out from all sides, not just the firing slits.

Anyway, not perfect, but possibly helpful.
