Robear
Wow, first post in a while, this demo has really grabbed my attention. Fantastic job guys! Anyway, I was looking at a T-34 in the game, and the tank was unbuttoned, but the hatch cover was invisible! I've been told that the Sovs usually designed their tank hatches to be bullet shields, and so they sit upright in front of the commander when open. I'm sure there is some good reason this is not portrayed. Is it a general thing or limited to the T-34? Inquiring minds want to know... Vergeltungswaffe
Robear, Things like hatches are not modelled separately. When unbuttoned, the crewmen graphic is basically just placed on top of the vehicle in the correct place(s). I suspect it will be a few years before detail like that is possible without huge VRAM issues. Robear
Thanks. Is this taken into account in the commander's survivability in any way? Small point, but I'm curious. Robear

RobearGood question, but probably not as so many variables could go into that, ie, any TC can just barely open his hatch and peek out, versus standing up tall in the saddle, etc.
