CavalryMan
AAARGH it gets worse. Not only does this popup a new ad every couple of mins it also does it even AFTER the browser with the site has been closed AND the spawning process refused to be shut down AND most of the popups were for ADULT sites, not what I want to appear at work. I know that the site needs to generate an income but PLEASE not like this.
Michael Emrys
I guess all that bandwidth has to get paid for somehow, but I sure feel your pain. Pop-ups are overtaking spam as the bane of the internet. Michael

I would also suggest that it does not match the demographics of the site visitors.

Rob Murray
Well the guy has to pay for all that bandwidth somehow & I'd rather put up with a few pop-ups ( even if they are adult oriented which btw I doubt COG has any control over ) than have to start shelling out every time I wanted a mod. I'd end up in the poor house in no time flat.

CavalryMan
Please accept my humble apologies for not having read further than my own nose. Keep up the good work and one day I will advance further than the steam driven modem and be able to use your site to download in less than a few hours
Neutral Party
On the more general problem of annoying pop-ups. I find this works pretty well. Joe
