Partisan Chief.
I've recently begun to become interested in learning more about the combat role of Germany's Axis allies in the war. I already know a fair bit about Finnish forces, and I believe I would be correct in stating they were the most resilient of the bunch. But I know next to nothing of Germany's other allies, Romania, Hungary, and Italy(well, on the eastern front) and their performance on the Eastern front, other than their role in Operation Uranus. How well equipped and trained were these guys? What other major actions did they take part in? Which nation was regarded as having the most reliable formations? Any information about this, even trivial facts, would be welcome.

Michael Dorosh
http://members.shaw.ca/grossdeutschland/players.htm Who's who - doesn't go into much detail militarily, but may get you an overall idea. Partisan Chief.
Interesting stuff there on the Romanian army. They fought in some really bloody battles. It's a shame so few people know about it.
