TerrorX Posted February 3, 2002 Share Posted February 3, 2002 While playing the Germans in the scenerio Elsdorf, when the german tankers get a kill they say YA!!!! but it seems like they are speaking in DUCK!!!!. It may have been the particular drivers for the sound card (are you using a Creative Sound Blaster series card ?). Here's a link to the 'Duck Sound thread'. The 00002080.WAV file is the problem here. Have you moded your sounds at all ? People have said that the sound plays back fine outside of the game, but within it the "Ja" sounds like a "Quack". At the end of the above thread someone mentions that the sample rate is incorrect for this particular sound (the file is 22.5kHz, when it normally is 44.1kHz). It's possible that your sound card's drivers have a hard time playing this sound in the game, at certain points, because of this sampling difference. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
