Well I have been busy trying to iron this out, I have noticed I have a iexplore.exe launching at startup, funny thing is I dont laucnch the browser when I see this hehe. Tried all sorts of spyware removal and virus cleaners and even did hijackthis to no avail. Need to find out whats telling my browser to launch. Iexplore.exe launches but without a browser window, meaning I just find it loaded in the processes and no browser window is lauched in the background.

Not sure whats going on but whenever I launch cmbo/cmak i get the window then it minimizes right away and I cant seem to get past the intro, wtf is going on?? Played fine for a long time even with srvc pak 2 problem did not start then it seems to have materialized out of thin air and im unsure of a fix. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Messing with the editor some, If I want to use Regimental,Divisional etc... reinforcements do I just leave the tab displayed as Divisional for example or must I place units in the box with the tab Divisional selected at the bottom? Basically I want to have reinforcements trickle in and not dump a bunch on the screen at once, as the men take losses I want them taken from the divisional pool. Missplaced my CM books or else id look this up. Thanks in advance

Have East front 2 gold loaded on the HD still, but after being exposed to cmbo/cmbb its hard to go back to it. Bitlongs seems to be my answer, downloaded all the docs, a bit overwhelming at first glance but interesting. Thanks for the replies, Mark

I was just curious if there were recomended battles and or operations that would span the entire Eastern Front from start to finish, whatever year it would finish would probably depend on who was victorious or not. Ive been away from the game for a bit so excuse this post if it has been answered elsewhere.

Has anyone had considerable luck with them or should I maybe consider allocating the points elsewhere. I have adjusted the timers and all that and what seems like I may catch an opponent in a shower of tnt always seems to fall short of what I had planned.

I could be mistaken but isnt there a follow command, could this have been the reason for the M17 to have taken off?

Nice, thought for awhile there is was a myth 8). I have shot at them, had 4 guns once locked on a plane but the bastard got away all 4 passes. Would just love to blow one of those out of the sky while my human opponent looks at his display with water logged eyes.

Has anyone ever destroyed a plane with these? Or even thrawted an attack from above by having many AA guns in place.

Looking nice my brother, only question is where is that T-34 of mine firing at your flank. The graphics in cmbb are much more clear to me than it was in cmbo. I would wait until more terrain mods come along only then will you be able to fine tune to your liking. I personally think that if the game did not improve on the graphics for the next 2 installments of the game I would not be bothered one bit, its the gameplay that has hooked me.

Always have been curious if Germany attacked Russia first all out what the outcome might have been. With a 100% resources on the Eastern front things may have been different.

I would like to use the AA features of my Nvidia Geforce3 Ti200 128mb card but if I enable any type of AA be it x2 or quad I get for example, a highlighted unit with the yellow box around it if it happens to touch the upper or left sides of the screen that yellow around the highlighted units is transposed to the top and left sides of the display feild. Would like to use AA I can see a noticeable difference while using it but can live without it. I am running det drivers 29.42 anything higher seems to have lockups

I have not tried to look at the briefing screens but I lose my interface sometimes if I alt - tab out and then go back into the game. I dont know if this is what you mean but thought I would mention it.

Not to much into the "Eye Candy" aspects of games as many. I feel that it is hard to balance the two and deliver a polished and rewarding game like the CM series. If they can make the game look better without lowering the gameplay value then I say hats off, but if the new pretty graphics interfere with the gameplay I personally feel that it is not a worthy trade off.

Smoke saved the day again for this one. Just timed it right, moved some armor off to the wooded area to the left and kept most of them on the hill in a hull down position. Once the smoke started to clear and the cats were close and unaware all hell breaks loose. The AT guns were the biggest thorne in the side however, until the 132's started raining down.

Been away for awhile just getting back to my Virtual life, was that wheat mod ever released? I cant remember who was working on that but it looked like it would add more flavor to what I have already. Thanks in advance
