... use the CMAK scenario editor to create fictional 1940-41 Britain scenarios!

My copy still isn't working thanks to nvidia and their nvidious drivers.

But I'm really hoping that when it's sorted I'll be able to re-enact the Fallschirmjager taking RAF Hawkinge, the German troops approaching Dover from inland, the British armoured counterattack towards Ashford, SS troops hunting down the LDV in Romney Marsh and the bitter hand-to-hand fighting in Brixton.

From what I gather my eagerly awaited CMAK will be able to produce realistic OOBs for Operation Sealion scenarios (with the exception perhaps of LDV/Home Guard units) - but I suspect the only terrain available for 1940 will be North African desert.

Am I right? Has anyone already done something along these lines?

Chris

Help! I'm a newbie!

If you're sneaky you could start a new scenario in 1940 Africa, load up all your early forces, then swap the scenario date to 1944 Italy giving you early British forces in green rolling hillsides!

Can't do that in Quickbattles of course, but you can, if you want, construct your own scenarios imitating Britain's green and pleasant lands. Next thing to do is start producing Brit vehicle mods in home-front green. And mod those Tommies' short pants into Scottish kilts... or plaid-skirted schoolgirl uniforms! :D;)
