kingjames
I am in total shock. Having skipped from cmbo directly to cmak, I feel like a babe in the woods. I love it though. GREAT work. Best game out there, no exceptions. Now if I can find the American Rangers, and paratroopers for my qb's I will be happy.

Hehe, had exactly the same problem. No U.S. Rangers and airborne units in Africa - these are available exclusively in the Italian TO: Rangers in Italy available from July '43 to Feb. '44. Airborne in Italy available from July '43 to April '44. As far as I know, anyway.
Hans
If you need those Rangers just design your own scenarios. By advancing the date you can select your troops then change the date back. They will be there, QBs are not bad buts its the scenarios that are best.

I rarely play the western Allies in either CMBO or CMAK. There is not a specific "Ranger" unit type, is there?

Indeed, the Rangers fought one or two of their more famous actions there. Michael

kingjames
Thanks for the info. No sooner had I posted than someone sent me the scenario 'A ranger last stand'. of course a company or two of rangers without arty or armor against a couple of companies of germans with 3 tigers does not sound so good,..
The Hapless General
Kingjames, You are absolutely right about the situation being hopeless. But don't discount those rangers' tenacity Hapless General
