PseudoSimonds
I was looking at the Kuebelwagen (Africa) in the game and noticed "Abstand 30m" written on the back. I know what it means, but I don't understand what distance it's referring to. Not an important question, but maybe someone can satisfy my curiosity.
Determinant
Convoy discipline. Think of it as a bumper sticker: 'If you can read this sign then you are driving too close and we will both be blown up by the same bomb'. An indirect tribute to the effect of the DAF on operations.
Michael Dorosh
Literally, it means "stay back 30 metres", for the reasons Determinant outlined. US and Canadian vehicles had interesting caution signs painted on the back of their trucks in the UK - "Caution, Left Hand Drive" And the "ätu" signs on the fenders of the Kübelwagen are tire pressure markings, giving measurements in "atmospheres". US jeeps had similar markings over the fenders - "TP 25", "TP 30", etc. indicating Tire Pressure in pounds per square inch (p.s.i.)
PseudoSimonds
'If you can read this sign then you are driving too close and we will both be blown up by the same bomb'In that case, I probably should have read this sign earlier! Thanks for the info guys. Now if I could only get my troops to read, we might be ok.

I must have read a good many of your 13000+ posts, but you're still reaching new heights of grogdom.
