l.cassidy
Hi all, I've found a site that could be a good aid for map designers interested in maps of Italy: www.terraitaly.it I believe the "citimage" section is the most useful: you can get satellite pics of every place in Italy searching by city/place and even address (!). Try and type "Montecassino" : and you can easily spot the Montecassino's Abbey at first glance. Then it's possible to zoom in (max 1:10000 I think) and navigate the map. It's not possible to " right click and save as", but with a print screen program like "Printkey 2000" I could do the trick. I think it can be useful to get a better idea of Italian villages & small towns layouts and help designers to make more realistic maps. Hope it helps. MikeyD
You're right, very cool site. I've often wished some enterprising soul would do-up a series of accurate Italian theater maps for QBs in the same way as CMBB. After play on your thosandth random QB map you can really appreciate seeing actual terrain represented.

Pzman
The area in that pict almost looks like that of BFC's original sky background.
