Recommended Posts

Hello a noob and welcome to the forum!

If you're looking for a game have you tried joining one of the excellent ladders? Band of Brothers is a good one and The Proving Grounds is a great place to find opponents.

Try http://www.webandofbrothers.de/

And http://www.the-proving-grounds.com/

Or if you fancy something a little closer to home try joining one of our long running challenge threads. Simply find the thread in the "Shock Force" forum with "Peng" in the title and announce yourself there - you're sure to be welcomed.

Good luck!

a noob,

Welcome aboard! If you wish to continue hurling down challenges for Star Wars: Battlefront, please turn off caps lock (we don't enjoy being shouted at) and go to our General Discussion Forum here, which is specifically reserved for nonpolitical discussions which don't pertain to BFC and its products.

http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=9

There, you might find the game you seek. This Forum, though, is specifically reserved for discussing Combat Mission: Afrika Korps and matters pertaining thereto.

While you're at it, why not download the demos for some of BFC's many fine games? Permit me to specifically recommend Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin and Combat Mission: Afrika Korps. They are closest to the first person shooter level of your Star Wars game, with individual tanks, sharpshooters, bazooka and LMG teams, plus mortars, artillery, infantry squads,

forward observers, even AI controlled airpower.

The in game AI is amazing, but fighting people via hotseat, PBEM, or TCP/IP is even better.

Free Demo list is here

http://www.battlefront.com/downloads.html

If you have a specific desire to be a tank crewman, then you may want to check out the Demo for T-72: Balkans on Fire or Drop Ship, a science fiction ground combat game set on the fringes of the galaxy, with full modeling of varying gravity, atmospheric composition, etc.

And here's a tip. If you treat us with dignity and respect, we'll do the same. I checked your profile. You're 24, live in Vietnam, and are quite old enough to know how to behave properly.

Regards,

John Kettler
