Lou2000
Just wondering what happens on the M3 if there is a gun hit causing damage. Does it tell you what turret is damaged ? It would be nice to know what armourment the tank has left ... 37mm or 75mm. I've not seen it yet ... had a gun hit but caused no damage. Lou Gun damaging hits on a Grant or Lee will render both guns inoperable.
Lou2000
OK thanks Kingfish.... I saw it mentioned in the M3 optics thread after I'd posted. I was kinda hoping that it wasnt going to be the case were both guns were taken out Its not the way I had expected 'Twin' turrets to work. Still we cant have everything I suppose. Haohmaru
Also, have you noticed that when tracking a target both guns rotate and elevate in unison? Even though only one of them fires, it looks like they are completely dependant on each other. I've yet to see one gun shoot at one target and the other shoot at something else. Haoh See the thread called "multi turrets". So far the conclusion seems to be that the behaviour of "multi turrets" can be summarised like this: "Tanks with 'multi turrets' have an extra choice of Ammo (eg 37 or 75) over a limited part of the arc (where the 75 can be fired), plus some graphics to display which calibre ammo was chosen". That appears to be _all_ that it is. GaJ.
