Small and Tiny Scenarios

I recall that when I played all the CM1 games a few years ago there was a group or a website which specialised in producing "small" or "Tiny" scale battle scenarios.

I would particularly enjoy these small scale encounters today both in CMAK and CMETO.Does anyone know of any current sources or sites from which one might d/l such small scale scenarios.

They were called "Byte battles". Check out Andrea's "I wish it was Der Kessel" website, which I think you can find the link to by doing a search under his name in the scenario discussion forum.

If you go through the Sorted Scenarios that were posted at the CMAK section of CMMODS recently you will find a large number of Small Battles. Their names usually start with SB. There are a lot of them in the 1940 section, but they show up in other parts of the sort as well.

What's your limit as to size? I have a few small-ish scenarios floating around on the web. In fact, I'm working on one that I purposely kept both side's forces at 1000 pts.

Thanks both for the helpful info.I am looking through the very useful "Sorted Scenarios"--Excellent resource .

Kingfish--re size limit I have no absolute boundary as much depends on proportion of armour and the quality of units involved-- but as a guideline I prefer Company or reinforced Company as max and I do like very small inf platoon,or reinforced platoon or armoured troop encounters.

Kingfish- Anything in that sort of range you have relevant to CMAK or CMETO I should very much appreciate.

The TSD salvage files have a large number of both Small Battles and Tiny Battles. I'm not sure who uploaded those scenarios, but given their titles, they are all in the last group at CMMODS.

Birdgunner uploaded four or five large zipped files full of scenarios and operations from TSD before it went down. The Small Battles and Tiny Battles will be in whatever file contains the "T" and "S" scenarios. Search for them under the designer name birdgunner.
