MikeyD
Because JaegerMeister asked for it: Winter Camouflage Sturmgeschütz IIIF/8 (Grey basecoat **appearing before March '43**) At our favorite site (CMBB section): www.cmmods.com I had great fun trying out a new technique for brushed-on whitewash for this winter Stug F/8, and I'm pleased with the results. Its of course based on my total redo CMBB Panzer Grey Stug F/8 and shows up in the winter of 42/43. I'm rushing forward with a Yellow basecoat winter Stug F/8 that'll show up from June-on in CMBB. Due to numbering peculiarities this mod can be used in CMAK Italian theater throughout the entire war! Here's the cmmods.com screenshot: WINTER Stug F/8 (grey basecoat)
Vergeltungswaffe
Most realistic winter AFV yet. Of course, you have 5 minutes to do the rest of them.
MikeyD
[EDITED]. Some good news. I finally got the later-war yellow base layer whitewash Stug F/8 mod working. for awhile the darned mod wouldn't show up. I had all the number correct, my copy of CMBB was just being uncooperative that day. JaegerMeister
Superb work MikeyD, thanks for getting them done so promptly!...i actually held off replaying the scenario in the hope you would take up the gauntlet paintbrush! Muchos gracias. They look great.
JaegerMeister
Any chance of a Stu-H42 skirtless winterised version? If your looking for a new afv to mod that is. Also, i'm going to ask the author of the Knights cross scenarios if he might want to recommend your mods for this battle in his briefing..makes sense and presume you wouldn't mind the extra adulation for your fine work?
