Knowledgable players will generally pick AFVs that are relatively invulnerable from the front and that have killer guns as soon as such sweeties are available. Sublime, one way around this situation is to let the computer choose the troops in such games. Generally, the computer has a devilishly perverse tendency to provide each player with mostly the most available and generally not the uber AFVs of the time. Each player would gnerally consider such troops of his to be crappe. However, one's opponent will also be provided with what the opponent considers to be crappe. Wolfe Posted March 29, 2003 Share Posted March 29, 2003 One of the things I'd like to see for the engine re-write is to have two cost ratings for AFV combat effectiveness. One as it is now: overall effectiveness vs. both tanks and infantry. The second would be for vs. tanks only; this one would be used in Armored and Pure Armor QBs.
