Bogdan
Hi Gentlemen, Just a quick question here : How to, in the CMBO scenario editor, set a destroyed bridge ? Does a technique exist either in CMBB or CMAK too ? Thanks for your answers
Kingfish
There isn't a destroyed bridge graphic for CMBO. For CMBB and CMAK the procedure is as follows: -Place a rubble tile (not flat rubble) on spot where bridge will go -Preview the map -go back into the editor and replace rubble with bridge tile -preview again
Bogdan
Thank you very much, Kingfish
Kingfish
You are welcomed. Note that you can use the same procedure to place destroyed churches or buildings on the map.

Leopard_2
Erm... at least CM:BB has seperate tiles for burning buildings / landscape...

But it doesn't have tiles for burning rubble, etc. and Kingfish's technique works for adding them. Good Hunting.
throwdjohn
Are you looking for a way to make it LOOK like a destroyed bridge, or are you trying to simulate a destroyed bridge so it cannot be crossed. One option would be just leaving some bridge tiles out.

But as this bridge was one tile long, I cannot just leave a tile missing... Anyway, I simply removed the bridge tile by a rubble tile, to simulate the destroyed construction : the infantry can pass it with some time, whereas no vehicle can. throwdjohn
No problem. Also, in BB and AK the bridges can be destroyed. I once made a little scenario with a bunch of t34s crossing a long long bridge with 15 TRPS on it, and 4 or 5 105mm spotters. When you destroy a bridge with stuff on it, the stuff is GONE! It makes sense of course, but its FUN to watch.

What are the required conditions to do that ?

junk2drive
In a CMAK playtest with light bridges and USA 42 engineers with demo charges, some took 1, some 2, some not after 3. BTW 30m IIRC is the throwing limit. EDIT IOW it may be a dice roll kind of thing.
