MikeyD
Have you noticed BFC's latest game on their main website? Napoleonic. Control 50,000 troops on-screen... and their horses! Looks like this game'll hit die-hard wargamers where they live!
Mattias
Oh, and a Tac AI that can be programmed for variable SOP:s. Not as important as the horses, but still nice. M.
Guest Mike
It doesnt' say control 50,000 troops, it says there can be 50,000 troops on the battlefield. Now think of RTW, where it says you can have 10,000......except you only get that with a top end machine using "huge" unit sizes in an 8-person LAN match!! for all intents and purposes the average gamer gets maybe 1200 or so to play with. Now this game says you can have up to 6 players on 2 sides in a battle, so I'd imagine this means each player can get about 8500 troops. Still not bad, and slowly getting better, but I think it's going to be a long way from an army! Edit: Oh and I notice there's no redcoats!! http://www.battlefront.com/products/les_grog/index.html
Holman
No redcoats? I suppose that means no Bren tripods. *sigh*
David I
Yeah, but horses and wagons (OK caisons)! And I like the grass. DavidI
Aco4bn187inf
I used to like the grass myself, but lately it only makes me paranoid... But seriously, could this be a sign that there'll be horses and transport wagons in CMX2?
