BulletRat Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 If the same weapon is carried by HMG and LMG teams, why is their effectiveness different? For example the MG42 HMG has a 6-man team and 85 ammo, the LMG has a 2-man team and 30 ammo - yet both teams have only ONE MG42. If both teams have the same weapon, why does the LMG team have much less effect. Weapon: 40m 100m 250m 500m 1000m HMG: 155 125 77 52 27 LMG: 50 45 30 18 -- Unless I'm missing something (and I probably am) both teams should have the same effectiveness, even though the LMG team would run out of ammo much sooner than the HMG. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
