Andreas
I visited Budapest last week, and a few pictures can be found here: Page I of pictures from Budapest Not all Siege of Budapest, but some nice kit to see. Budapest has a military history museum on Castle Hill that is well worth visiting, not only because it is free. But that helps for cheap people like me. Runyan99
I like the little hashmark tally next to the sniper rifle in the Soviet room.

RCHRD
Andreas, when I go to the red army studies site and try to download the soviet articles, they start and stop and finally stop completey before the end of the article. Is there a trick I'm missing?
Andreas
Probably a site bandwith issue. I have had trouble in the past as well, but more in that it takes ages. You can forget about just clicking and opening them in a browser though, you need to right-click and save the file. That does work for me (I just checked). RCHRD
Andreas, you are a genius. I've been trying to get at those articles since that site opened. I've gotten two in as many years. I got all the 1982 issues just today. Thanks.

John Kettler
And modest, too! RAS rocks, though. Also, page two of your Budapest Museum spread has a misidentified gun. The 40mm AA gun is really a 57mm S-60. You can crosscheck this with the image of the placard listing the data for all the guns in that part of the museum.
