Barkhorn1x
The game looks excellent on my rig - but when I go to take a screenie the results are less than stellar. Anyone hosting some tasty shots? Barkhorn.

MikeyD
Here's a screenshot I liked so much i swapped it out with the original cmmods.com image for the mod! Staghound III vs Tiger I (CMAK) cmmods.com Staghound screenie One reason why screenies often don't look as good as you expect is because ... well... you're probably a crappy photographer! A screenshot - like a photo - has to be composed and balanced to look better than a simple snapshot. Try playing with different camera zooms, shooting from different angles, that sorta stuff

It's just that the shots end up being "muddy" even though I'm using zoom and (and I have AA turned on). Hey just found some Il-2 Forgotten Battle shots here: http://community.webshots.com/user/barkhorn1x Please ignore the R:TW shots as that game does not lend itself to good screenies either. Barkhorn. Gpig
Are you trying to compress the images somehow, AFTER you've taken the screenshot? I know that when I tried to compress my screenshots, they became scream-snots. Gpig
Barkhorn1x
You know - I am saving them as Jpgs - to save space - perhaps that is it! I will try to save as .BMP's - and then convert from there. Barkhorn.

This is the .bmp. no compression, nothing. Got to love the Staghound BTW.
