Creating a scenario

I have a new computer and have put CMBB on it and I am having a problem creating new scenario maps. When i start creating the map and changing the height the screen goes blank on me and i can no longer see any height numbers on the board. can anyone help me with this?

Hmm...that happens to me too. Alt-Tabbing seems to work occasionaly.

I have had this happen with large scenarios; I think it might be memory-related. Usually it works again if I exit CMBB and enter again, or worst case, if I reboot.

Try updating your video drivers. Also, check the technical support forum and post your system specs and problem.

I have this problem, it is a minor bug. You need to load a scenario that is already saved. Then you can create a new scenario. Seems to work fine after that.

The problem seems to occur only when I do the following:

1) Start CMBB

2) go into the editor;

3) generate a random map; and

4) change elevations

The problem seems to be that the graphics in the map are not updated properly.

The problem does not occur when I do the following:

1) load CMBB

2) go into the editor;

3) load an existing scenario;

4) generate a random map; and

5) change elevations - everything works fine, included for later random maps, and so on. So this looks like a work around to the problem.
