Bruceov
Please explain what is meant by the "Death clock"
Canon
Even once a tank has been killed, the shooter isn't aware of this for a small period of time, and so keeps firing. The amount of time before it is recognised as killed is random (IIRC) and is called the Death Clock
Guest Mike
That's assuming the tank doesn't burst into flames of course - if that happens then the firer knows that it's dead right away!

MikeyD
New players will probably not appreciate the subtlties of CMBB's Death Clock, but those with CMBO experience under their belt think it's the most exciting thing since sliced bread. Wait til you're down to your last 4 AP rounds and you just holed that IS-2 on the ridgeline. Will the AI fire off all my remaining rounds to make sure he's dead? Will the IS-2 blow me to kingdom-come after I already put two rounds into him? Some games can turn into real nail-biters.
Bartokomus
i think thta's why i enjoy playing the reconaissance vehicles against the KV's; the immense fireball you create is so reassuring...
