M Hofbauer
Sorry, haven't been around in a while. I have a problem with this annoying, high-volume Bloop! sound that tells you the end of the movie. Can anyone please help me and tell me the file number of the respective *.wav? I lost my sound editing capability in XP, so I won't be able to mute it down, buit I figured I simply replace it with some rifle or other sound effect. Also, when trying to listen to the CMBB wav's in the XP media player, a lot of them give me some sort of "codec needed" message. what'S up with that? are they somehow compressed in some exotic format? Thanks for your help! sincerely, M.Hofbauer

Pvt. Ryan
I've also not been able to play CM's sounds with WMP 9. I use Sound Recorder that comes with Windows to play them. You can also use it to adjust volumes.

M Hofbauer
Thanks a lot! Yes indeed it is the 00128 file. Thanks also to Pvt. Ryan for the sound recorder - I hadn't discovered it yet on XP !!! Thanks Gordon, and thanks Pvt. Ryan. I muted the bloop to my liking. I'm a happy camper now.
