In CMBO, doesn't artillery called in by a FO primarily fall in a north-south or east-west pattern? If so, does it vary by map, etc.? Kammak Posted September 16, 2003 Share Posted September 16, 2003 Just to reiterate - AFAIK the artillery is modelled as coming from a friendly border - as determined by the scenario designer. I made a mission with US airborne attacking from the West to the East, with only the southern border friendly. Then all the arty fire was parallel to my troops lines (arty coming from the south) and ranged across the length of the German lines.
