markshot
I just got CMBB and I see that I have all these new movement choices: move to contact, advance, assault, and human wave. Does anyone have any good threads discussing when to use each of these? Might JasonC have written a thesis on this very topic? Thanks!

markshot
Yes, that was good reading. However, he did not cover "move to contact". Can anyone elaborate on it's uses? Thanks. --- PS: I have one other question. I was just reading about terrain types/structures in the manual. Do squads now know that they have cover behind a wall in CMBB? Or did they still freak out, since they feel that they are caught in the open when taking fire behind a wall? Thanks again.
Cpl Carrot
When using MTC the unit will stop moving when it sights an enemy unit or comes under fire. If the unit has a cover arc the unit will ignore all enemy units it sees that are not in the arc. It will stop if fired at from outside the arc. Does that help? Moon
Also, if you issue a "move to contact" order followed by a "hide" command, the unit will stop when an enemy comes in sight and automatically hide, making this a useful recon command.
