rickr
I'm another who would be very interested in this project. I have no experience modding CMBB, but would be glad to help if ther was something I could do to help implement this. Rick

Havent heard anything from him yet, I'm not really expecting to at this point. Shame, I really wish CMBB covered the 1939 Polish Campaign. patboy
After a long break, I post today some WIP Here they are Pz38t & Pz35t either on the battlefield, not possible with CMBB, but with Polish campaign almost all is possible. Panzer 35t crew is wearing the famous early war shutzmütze, really all is possible with Fall Weiss. Sorry to answer your questions belated, but it's a hard work to do. I appreciate your interest for "Fall Weiss". When I started this mod campaign, I don't thought this work was so difficult to create ; interface, tanks, vehicles & uniforms(for each side), smallarms, buildings and scenarios. That's why I can't say when " Fall Weiss" could be ready to download ! However, I hope to upload some mods with the first scenarios soon now, hoping that, some modders or scenario builders by the way have some interest to help me and Polish campaign to stay in life as well as CMETO. WIP : Interface ready Small arms ready Scénarios some are ready Uniforms ready Buildings some are ready (not damaged) Vehicles some are ready Tanks some are ready (see pics above) Special thanks to Marco Bergman for his help on Panzer 35(t) a newbie in Combat mission. John Kettler
patboy, Looks good, and I thinks it's great that you take the trouble to build the man dragged version of the LeIG, but your photo references don't appear to have the staggered, two deep spoke arrangement you depict on your build. Assuming I'm right in interpreting the period images, can you remove, say, the inner set? Regards, John Kettler
patboy
John, No, I can't remove the inner set(polygon trouble), but I can let the choice to the users in including early and late type of the wheels. Pat
John Kettler
patboy, Roger. Seeing as how I couldn't even do a skin myself, I believe what you're saying. Am sure people will be thrilled just to have a choice of wheel types for the LeIG. Regards, John Kettler

Hey, "Hans" screenshot come from your scenario "Noose". To be continued... Pat
John Kettler
patboy, Always nice to see WIP images. You have been busy! Didn't realize the Polish Army wore German pattern helmets, khaki paint or no, but it makes eminently good sense when you consider how dirt cheap they would've been after WW I. Count D'Ten
Now this, I'm still interested in. I hope even dopes like myself can figure out how to set up the game and that you grognards come up with some snappy scenarios. Besides being beaten up by the Germans, little campaigns over multi-lingual counties are always possible (given time almost inevitable) with Czech's and especially Hungarians. Hmm, could construct a decent Commie foe out of Romanians using captured equipment. There really are some great, late thirties possibilities!

John Kettler
patboy, Was running a lead down trying to find a book title, when I found something great to help your war effort, in the form of a new Zaloga book on the Polish Campaign. One of the many goodies in it is that the Poles had tungsten ammo available in limited quantities and used it. News to me! http://www.amazon.com/Poland-1939-Birth-Blitzkrieg-Campaign/dp/1841764086 Regards, John Kettler
