Graphic Problems

Recommended Posts

When I start WaW and click to any HQ a graphic problem appears. A big black and white bar direct over the Units which are connected to the HQ. If I activated a Unit the HQ have the bar in black and white. Other things are OK. In SC2 without WaW everything is OK!

What problem is happened and how can I solve this problem?

Amadeus,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I would suggest trying to update your video card driver as well as a reboot just in case it will quickly resolve your issue.

Other than that I would also suggest trying to run WaW in 16-bit mode. This can be done in game via the SETTINGS dialog. All you need to do is check what your current settings are, for example if you are running at 1024x768x32, simply change this to 1024x768x16 to see if this helps.

Thank you, but if I switch to 16 bit it become worser than before. I see only white fields and worse things. I watch the internet for my problem and maybe I bought the wrong graphic card: ATI RADEON HD 2600 XT

Some players know the problem and I don't see a solution :-(

Don't know what to do. Do I have to buy a new graphic card??

Thanx for your help so far. Here is what I have done meanwhile. I updated my driver to

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 8.471.0.0

I think that are the latest. It become a little better now. I see the most things clear. But I have to disable "escort range" and only one setting is possible. Other settings are really worse...no battlefield or slow reaction by clicking Units.
