True, I did get in about 20 turns before it locked up, but it did so. I had absolutely no problems with 1.0 or 1.02 BTW. Hubert Cater Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 The patch was submitted on the 16/17th, but the eventual solution (for me) to the problem with v1.03 was for me to revert to the original version created on the 14th, so indeed the 14th is the correct date for the SC executable in patch v1.03. The 1.03 patch on the web site seems to have the 8/16 dated executable, which I know gives me problems.Sorry this is a little confusing... my references to the 'SC.exe' (dated on the 14th of August) are contained within the latest version of the 'SC_patch103.exe' (dated 17th of August). So to make sure, please double check that the patch you download is dated on the 17th, and that the executable for the game that is contained within the patch is dated the 14th. I figured out that my browser cache was forcing me to re-load the old 1.03 rather than download what was actually on the web site. Sneaky, huh? Hubert, thanks for noticing that one.
