gorski
I lost a cruiser today because I couldn't select my path of travel. This is the only time I recall needing to select a path instead of using the computer default path. Hubert, any plans for allowing you to keep moving as long as you have not used up all of your movement points and have not spotted anything? USGrant
ditto and bump I've had the same trouble with both naval units and armor units. Of course allowing players to pick hex paths would tilt the game more in their favor vs. the AI.
Wolfe
Originally posted by USGrant: Of course allowing players to pick hex paths would tilt the game more in their favor vs. the AI.How about being able to set only one waypoint (right-click ala CM) instead of choosing the exact hex path? Should give a bit more control, but not really tilt the game too much. - Chris
pzgndr
I can live with this abstraction as a fog of war thing. Commanders in the field make mistakes, and this is one of them. I don't like it either when it happens to me. But then again, I use it to my advantage to sucker the AI into making mistakes. So, be cautious. Use your air cover. Leapfrog your fleets. Expect to be surprised occassionally. Guess what, there's a war on!
