October 24th 1942, Zhukov is given orders to protect Moscow using the majority of the Siberian Army and some units that are protecting Moscow at the moment, these units include the 5th Shock Tank, 5th, 7th, 41st, and 52nd Army, and X and V Corps. Zhukov and his troops quickly get to Moscow in an attempt to stop the HUGE Fascist onslaught, and protect Moscow. Can J.K Zhukov protect Moscow and save the Motherland From the Fascist invader? November 21st 1941, Operation Saviour is started, and led by Field Marshall Zhukov. 5th Shock Tank attacks XX Panzer Tank group, devastating the Panzer Group while taking only Minor damage itself. The 7th Army then moves on the Panzer group and annihilates it. Zhukov gets the news while in his bunker on the Volga River, He is happy, but not satisfied saying "we need to continue attacking and devastate the enemy, in order to make this operation a success!" with that Zhukov attacked the 4th Army with the 41st Army, and X corps to attack XIX Panzer Group, both attacks weakened the enemy by 20% while only taking 10% damage themselves. Zhukov sends Stalin a message saying "The begining of operation Savior is a success, we are still pushing forward, we will continue the operation through the coming Winter. December 5th 1941, News arrives the II Corps and 1st Shock Tank Group were defeated and destroyed. January 2nd 1942, Operation Saviour was to resume, 52nd 11th and V corps, all under Zhukovs supply and command, attacked the 30th German Army, weakening it to 20%, then attacking the 4th German Army with 5th Shock tank and X corps, weakening the army to 60%. Zhukov is unhappy that both army's survived but with Moscow still under threat, Zhukov planned for the next offencive.... April 10th, 2 Army's and the 5th Shock tank group attack the German 30th Army weakening it to 10%, but then cutting off its Supply, the German Army is doomed, X corps heads to Sevastopol for a secret operation, Operation "Black Gold" The Western Allies report to have landed in Italy, while the 9th Red Army destroys the 1st Italian Army in South West Soviet Union. April 24th, Soviet III corps is destroyed. May 8th 1942, The Newly acquired to Zhukovs army group, destroys the 30th Army. In Sevastopol, the Sevastopol corps and X corps destroy Bulgarias 5th Army. June 6th 1942"Today has been the darkest day for the Fascist invader, within a year we shall be in Berlin." Proclaims Stalin after a very productive day. 5th Shock Tank Group Destroys XV Panzer Group, while 14th, 7th, 41st, and 52nd Army, all under Zhukovs control and supply destroyed V Panzer Group, Canada Britain and America landed in France and the British were fighting on the gates of rome , Operation Saviour was a complete Success, now Field Marshall Zhukov and General Papov were to start the next "war winning operation" named Liberate and Punish, aimed at Liberating captured Soviet Territory and capturing Germany, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria. June 11th, Italy surrenders to Britain. June 19th 1942 Opperation Black Gold a complete success!! Bucharest and Plotsi oil fields capture by X corps amphibious assault. Two Italian armys + Tank Group + Balbo HQ all surrendered today after their capital was captured by British forces. Zhukovs forces surrounded Smolensk, and Partisans captured the formally Italian occupied Odessa. Southern Soviet Union, which was recently fought for by Italy plus the axis minors only now had a German Corp and Air fleet and the Hungarian army, after 8 units surrendered in the Soviet Union. July 3rd 1942, 14th Army Destroys III Panzer Group, Zhukov is ectatic but not done for the day , under 3 fleets of air support the 14th Army and V corps liberate Smolensk, yet more importantly 5th Shock Tank, and a partisan Corps cut off Kluge, Leeb HQ's, 14th, 6th Army and XVI Panzer groups supply, Zhukov claims "We have truly won the war" July 17th 1942, Today 12 units 4 Air fleets attacked and destroyed the 6th Army, XIX Panzer, and attacked 14th Army, and Leeb, Kluge, and Bocks HQ's, only 4 corps and 1 army are still in supply in USSR. July 24th, Bulgaria surrenders, LC liberated by Allies, Germany and Hungary, the only surviving Axis countries, retreat from USSR and France in order to protect their homelands, leaving 3 trapped HQ's and a Army, behind just South of Leningrad. Soviets have 4 Partisan corps behind enemy lines. July 31st 1942, A partisan corps captures an undefended Warsaw. Leeb Kluge HQ's, 14th Army, and a retreating German corps all are destroyed. Zhukov met with Stalin, where he recieved his new orders, He is to capture Berlin and Prague, before the Western allies can. France is liberated. August 14th 1942, Zhukov, with a massive Army group arrives in Warsaw, Prepares to take Prague, which seems to be undefended, and is planning the final strike, on Berlin, which is guarded by 2 corps and Rommel HQ. Germany is down to 9 ground units, 3 of which are HQ's. Papovs forces liberated Yugoslavia, and surrounded Budapest. In Warsaw Zhukov delivers this short speech to thousands of Red Army Troops and Polish onlookers "Just about 2 years ago Germany, and its allies, began their rape of our motherland, now its your turn to make them pay!, (applause) And im sure you will, (applause), History shall judge you as the hero's who ended Fascism! Show no Mercy! Never Surrender, Make the motherland proud! (applause). 5th Shock Tank group attacks Berlin , Zhukov tells Stalin he will have Germany surrendered in 4 months. 3rd Shock Tank Captures Budapest. September 18th, 1942, Hungary surrenders, 5th Shock Tank, 7th Army and 3 air fleets attack Berlin from the East leaving the guarding corps at 60%. Soviets capture Helinski. October 16th 1942, The British 2nd Army attacks Berlin from the West, then 4 red Air fleets attack then 5th Shock Tank and 7th Army attack leaving the corps at 10%. Zhukov tells Stalin, the Germans are fighting tell the last man, the city shall be captured next offencive. Stalin claims victory in the Great Patriotic War. October 30th, Finland surrenders. November 13th 1942, A British Air fleet, followed by 4 Red Air Fleets attack Berlin Soviet Armys reinforce, then...... December 11th, Victory in the Great Patriotic War! BTW, great use of photos, small is better in these things as they don't interupt the flow and that raising of the Red Flag is always stirring; the Soviet equal of the US Flag going up on Mt. Brad, Hope you take CvM's good advice on this and wait till after the contest to paste the screen shots. They'd have added something, but it's a great AAR as it is.
