cndian
Ok, what is best way to take down Malta?
Mr.Dozer
im no pro but it depends on what unit is in malta. a corp then just use italian fleet to gain xp, once that is done use ships with some planes in sicilly to take it out. A plane you (this is if you have equal or betterplane) attack port to draw plane out. and depending on entrenchment bring in fleet if high te reduce it. keep other planes in researve to protect fleet. keep attacking port with plane then using ships until entrenchment is gone then just attack it
Sombra
Well only a stupid Allied commander will defend Malta. In case of a corps defending Malta => train your fleet In case of an AF defending Malta. Move a HQ + 1-2 AF to Italy (you will need them anyway to take Vichy) attack the the port not the AF in Malta directly. The allied airfleet will intercept but take huge damage. As soon as the allied player doesn´t reinforce its airfleet anymore take it out with direct hits.
Mr.Dozer
also with low entrenchment helps to hit malta directly
guinty1
never use a corps to defend malta with ,that xp on the italian BBs can be lethal l8r on,and its a waste trying to with a air unit.Best hold it till Germany moves enough firepower down to threaten to take it then op the air back to UK,or better still if you can afford to send down the french air and let it take the punishment later.
