Terif
Axis turn 2: LC and Poland surrender. Polish AF was intercepting from London. Denmark corps survives at str 1. German subs surprise a british battleshipgroup in the Atlantic - Rodney sunk. No allied attack on Ireland.
zappsweden
Only thing looking good at the moment is that the 2 Atlantic subs are sunk.
Terif
Axis turn 3: Denmark surrenders. French HQ spotted, french line takes some damage, german air busy in Denmark and repositioning towards Paris. Only 1 UK corps in France, probably Monti has been built. Italian readiness rises, so Malta AF should be in England.
zappsweden
Turn 3: Denmark surrendered too. Allies DOW Ireland.
Terif
Axis turn 4: Estimation was correct, 2 UK AFs in and around London - attacking a german corps to force intercepts and to use the AA bonus. German troops enter France and destroy an enemy army in the process, both UK AFs intercepting. Only a cheap corps placed in the first bloodhex, french attacks on it expected... zappsweden
Allies are using air interceptions from UK. Axis took First Blood Hex on turn 4 with army+tank+3 air.
Terif
Axis turn 5 (January 7, 1940): Since Allies built 2 HQs and go for airbattles, they have not enough ground forces in France. Elbow was empty and taken by Germany. Now a major offensive along the coast starts with the veteran troops from Poland. 2 french armies destroyed, german tanks move forward, 4 french hexes conquered in total now, 2 german units only 2 hexes away from Paris, french army in the Ardennes heavily damaged. zappsweden
Germany took Ardenner by using 3 armies.
Terif
Axis turn 6 (March 3, 1940): French Ardennes conquered, french mine occupied, Bilotte HQ at the coast under attack by german tanks and reduced to str 6 - as a revenge for UK airraides against a german HQ. Time to reinforcing the 4 german AFs (only 1 of them was able to intercept last turn ). A lot of open space in France - Allies have no mpps for corps due to the airbattles and the french HQ, so German units can march through without much resistance . Terif
Axis turn 7 (March 31, 1941): Allies left Paris open to build a line in front of it with the last allied survivors. So German troops kill a french corps and enter Paris where the citicens celebrate the liberation from the allied commander Allies surrender unconditionally. First game finished. Desaix
Mmm... Allies surrender after Paris fall in 215 bid game is a rather early surrender... Spectators might have asked their money back ...
