Goober
Anyone old enough out there remember High Command. A cool feature was that the national anthem played every time when countries were occupied. Can this happen here??? Oh I love mods. And the people who make them. I do not think those guys get enough credit for the work they do!!!
Old Patch
Yes, I remember High Command. Fortunately my company has an excellent couselling service and I no longer wake up screaming in the middle of the night about it.
Sir Harry Flashman
High Command was one of my favorite games growing up...especially when I couldn't find anyone to play GDW's Europa series with me... Here's a link to download "High Command" if you are interested... http://www.ryanbailey.com/hicom/hicom.html
Goober
Sir Harry. Sorry but High Command does not work on new systems. Still have original game and unfortunately it only works on Dos system. Like my super dupper 486DX 100.

Still, those anthems, and the more detailed map which included even Luxemburg, were things I remember with some fondness - and which I would love to see in a SCII. J Wagner
Aren't there emulators around that allow you to play dos based games on newer versions of Windows? I wouldn't mind firing up the 2 Interplay Lord of the Rings games. [ August 18, 2002, 07:32 PM: Message edited by: J Wagner ]
