  1. You can find out about emulators and a ton of old abandonware games at these sites: http://www.the-underdogs.org/ http://www.goodolddays.net/ Might as well add some of my other favorite grognard sites: http://www.strategypage.com http://grognard.com/ http://www.wargamer.com/
  2. High Command was one of my favorite games growing up...especially when I couldn't find anyone to play GDW's Europa series with me... Here's a link to download "High Command" if you are interested... http://www.ryanbailey.com/hicom/hicom.html
  3. I'm having a problem. I was using v1.02 with no problem. I downloaded the 1.03 patch and applied it but now I am getting the message "Could not find the Strategic Command - European Theater in your CDROM Drive. Program Terminated" The problem is I have the CD in my drive. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and applied the patch again. Same problem. My CD drive doesn't do anything either when I start the game either. It doesn't seem like the drive is checked, the light doesn't go on, etc. Any suggestions? I have a 1400 Athlon running WinME with 512MB Ram and a Raedon 64MB card. ___________________________________ I fixed the problem, but I thought I would post the solution in case others had the problem. I have a DVD drive as drive "D" and my CDROM as "E". Placing the SC CD in the DVD drive fixes the problem. [ August 17, 2002, 07:15 PM: Message edited by: Sir Harry Flashman ]

  5. How do I go about connecting my two computers so that my friend and I can play again each other?
  6. I just wanted to second what was said above. I found this game through the wargamer.com website and downloaded the demo. The game is great! I can't wait until it comes out. Keep up the good work. Is there going to be a Pacific theater version?
