PzTwt
How do I add craters to an already drawn map in the CMBB map editor? I can get damaged buildings etc, but no general terrain damage. Additionally, I have drawn a map initially for a battle, but have now decided it would be better suited to a static operation. Is there any way to import the map into a new operation?
flamingknives
You can't change battles to ops or vice versa in any of the CM series. Not sure about craters off hand. I think it's cmd- or alt- 1 to 5 to select the size of crater (5 being the biggest). It's in the manual.
PzTwt
Top man, thanks for the reply. Disappointed about the map though, I spent hours drawing a detailed map from a decent topographical source and can't bear the thought of starting from scratch again. Guess I'll have to keep it as a battle...

PzTwt
Cheers junk - have used the map converter as suggested and have converted my map from a battle to an operation. Now that's what I call groovy...

That particular misquote kept me from getting to use selective damage for almost a year. Panther Commander
