Go to http://combathq.thegamers.net/ for the Combat Mission HQ site. There's some mods in the 3rd Party section under Allied Armor. There's several mods by Marcos Bergman for instance that have wonderful Allied insignias to decorate the plain armor appearance of Allied Armor. Several have batch files to convert a mod to French, Canadian, UK, and Polish forces. Quite nice.

Nice to see you made use of the stuff from my site, Shadow. Glad it's making the rounds. I'd appreciate a photo credit for the cap badge, plus credit for the mod visible in the photo. Thanks!

edit - also, let me know when you put up a links page and we can trade links.

Speaking of Canadian mods, I noticed that some of the armor mods have Canadian flags on them, which is a nice touch. But Canada did not have a flag yet during WW2, that came only in the 60's. Before tht Canada used the Red Ensign (a red flag with the Union Jack in the corner.

The current Canadian flag came in '63 I think. Do you mean the flag, or the red/white/red recognition strip?

1965 was the consecration of the Maple Leaf.

You all fail your grade bloody seven social studies and are stripped of grogdom until you can write an essay on the Riel Rebellion, the role of Fenians in Confederation, and the number of pop stars Maggie Trudeau slept with. biggrin.gif

For the benefit of Henri, the red-white-red is an AFV recognition strip used by commonwealth forces. Different nationalities used different colours. British are white-red-white. They had dropped out of usage by '44.

Ok, I'm pretty much all up and going now. There are mods, scenarios, pictures, but no links or AAR's yet
