Hans
In May 1940. Anyone know which tanks/vehicles were part of the Panzer-Regiment 1 Panzer-Abteilung I Panzer-Abteilung II Kradschützen-Abteilung 1 Aufklärungs-Abteilung 4 Panzerjäger-Abteilung 37 Thanks
Andreas
PR 1 (4 light, 2 medium coys) Panzer I (24 or 26), Panzer II (49), Panzer III (26) and Panzer IV (20). PR 2 (4 light, 2 medium coys) Panzer I (24 or 26), Panzer II (49), Panzer III (30) and Panzer IV (20). I have slightly conflicting numbers for this. Especially for the Panzer I. Panzerjäger-Abteilung 37 - 3coys of 8 3,7cm Pak36, and probably 3 5cm Pak 38 each. Also one AA coy, 8 SP 2cm Flak 38, and 2 2cm quad Flak. Panzeraufklärungs-Abteilung 4 - armoured cars in one coy, maybe plus one platoon, also motorcycle coy, heavy coy. K1 - motor-cycles, MG coy, heavy coy. Also, in the Schützenbrigade, one coy of SP 15cm sIG33.

Andreas
Man kann wohl einfach 'danke für den Link' sagen. You want this page in particular: Main page And within that the 'Truppenteile/Einheiten/Gliederungen' section. Has blueprints for a lot of KSTNs and info on pretty much all divisions, more for some of the famous ones, such as 1.PD then for others.
JonS
Hans, are you still looking for this info? I'm in the process of reading Len Deightons "Blitzkreig", and the end papers have the entire veh strength of 1st Pz Div in May 1940 done in silhouette form.If you don't have access to the book ... which I guess you probably don't ... I can scan it for you, but not till the end of the weekend. Let me know Jon
Hans
Thanks JonS Andreas provided me with a link that was more than sufficient. However I have a follow on question for another scenario, the eguipment of the 10th Panzer on or about the 23 May 1940. Oh stupid question, as far as I can tell CMAK doesn't seem to have a Pz1 in it, is this correct? I've been using Pz IICs with main gun ammo removed.

Can you confirm that the 1st Panzer had the SP 15cm in May 1940? I looked and found that production was rather limited but were the few in existence actually in the 1st Panzers Division?

Yeah but for some reason it doesn't seem to stop browser burp errors...or what ever causes this multiple messenging. Actually I live in a country with a security proxy which blocks all porno, evil western ideas and anything to do with Israel!
